The Training Program for Master's Degree in School of Physical Education

1. The Field of Professional Degree

   Our school recruits master degree graduates in three fields: physical education, sports training and social sports instruction

2. The Training Objectives

   To cultivate high-level and applied sports professionals in physical education, sports training and social guidance.

3. Years of Study

   The school system is 2 years, and the maximum number of years in school is no more than 3 years.

4. The Core curriculum

1) The field of Physical Education: the theory of physical education, the course of the teaching method of physical education, the principle of the learning of sports skills, the theory and practice of physical fitness, the theory and method of sports psychology.

2) The field of sports training: the theory and method of sports training, sports psychology, scientific monitoring of sports training, prevention and rehabilitation of sports injuries, and the theory and method of physical training.

3) The social guiding areas of social sports: social sports, fitness theory and practice, sports prescription, sports and leisure project outline, mass sports management.

5. The Credit Requirements for Academic Degrees

   The course credit is not less than 36 credits, and the thesis studies 18 credits.

6. The Ways and Methods of Training

Taking curriculum education as the main line, combining theory with practice, combining academic tutors with academic mentors and vocational tutors.

7. The Degree Paper

At the end of the second term, the thesis will be opened and the work plan will be determined. The study time of a paper is not less than one school year.

8. Graduation and Degree Award

   The graduates will complete the course within the period specified by the school, filling in the prescribed credits, passing the thesis defense of the degree, meeting the requirements of the graduation, are being granted to graduate, meeting the regulations of the Chinese people's Republic of China and the standard of the granting professional degree of our school, and afterthe school degree evaluation committee’s examining and voting ,to  be granted a master's degree.
