In order to celebrate the International Women’s Day, enrich the leisure time of the teaching staff and promote the spiritual civilization, the Labor Union of our school organized “Walk into Spring” faculty activity on the bank of the Yellow River on March 10th. The chairman of Labor Union of Henan University Shen Jiexia, vice chairman f Labor Union of Henan University Song Jufang, and minister-lever investigator Luo Li together with other leaders and nearly 80 faculty members participated in the activity.
This activity mainly included barbecue, interesting games and presenting flowers to female teachers. The faculty members were divided into groups and the kitchen utensils and ingredients were prepared in advance. The barbecue started at 10am and the scene immediately became lively, washing dishes, lighting fires, skewering meat, painting oil, turning over, sprinkling cumin and paprika... Everyone enjoyed the fun of barbecue, and had a good time with each other. In the games, each team worked together, chased each other. The whole game was full of laugh and joy. In the process of giving flowers to female teachers, male teachers presented flowers to female teachers and expressed their sincerest greetings. The whole scene was filled with laughter and excitement. Teachers also took photos with their mobile phones to record the beautiful moments.
Shen Jiexia and other leaders went into groups to understand this activity. They communicated with faculty members, inquired their work and life, and participated in interesting games, flower laying and so on.
Our Labor Union of School of Physical Education has always advocated the idea of “health and harmony, enjoying life and working happily”. It has always attached importance to the work of female workers and paid attention to the physical and mental health and development of female teachers. In order to ensure the success of the activity, the leaders of the Party and government of the school attached great importance to this activity and drew up a detailed plan for it. By organizing this event, we eased the tensions of the weekdays, enhanced the friendship among teachers, gave full play to the activities of the labor union to boost the development of the college, and promoted the active role of the connotative construction and development of our school.
