In order to activate the amateur cultural life of the faculty, advocate the teachers to actively participate in the national fitness activities and improve their physical and mental health, according to the work plan of the college union and the requirements of staff volleyball competition by  Labor Union of Henan University in 2018, the first stage of the men and women volleyball competition for the second group organized by our college was held in volleyball gym of School of Physical Education from March 29 to 30.

The second group was composed of eight colleges and schools, namely, the College of Liberal Arts, the School of Journalism and Communication, the Faculty of Foreign Languages, the Faculty of Law, the International Chinese College, the Euro-Asia International College, the Affiliated High School of Henan University and School of Physical Education. A total of 4 teams of men volleyball and 5 teams of women volleyball participated in the first stage of the competition. After two days of fierce competition, the College of Liberal Arts and the Faculty of Law respectively won the first and the second place in the men volleyball competition. The School of Journalism and Communication and the Affiliated High School of Henan University respectively won the first and second place in the women volleyball competition. The four teams would compete in the second stage of the school competition with the seeds of the men volleyball team of the Affiliated High School of Henan University, the women volleyball team of the College of Liberal Arts and the men and women volleyball teams of our school.
